27  First Assembly of God Clean up and beautification event, St. Joe's Cemetery located on Hwy 20, other locations will also be targeted in the South Putnam area, contact Nikki Cummings for more information, 649-4870;  8am-12pm.

March

Dunn’s Creek State Park Cleanup, Blue Pond entrance, located on U.S. Hwy 17 South, North of Pomona Park, Cub Scout Pack 235, 9 am-1 pm.

13 Hoover and Walker Rd. Clean up,  Meeting at Dunham Woods Baptist Church, 151 Hoover Rd., Hollister (less than a mile down on the left),  9am-12pm.

13 Tribute To Kids, at St. Johns River Community College, 5001 St. Johns Ave., Palatka, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Communities and Schools is hosting their annual tribute to kids, come join the fun, games, activities, demonstrations, car show and more!

20 Pomona Park Clean up and Beautification event.  Meeting at Morgan Park in Pomona Park, Hwy 17 South, on the left.  Town of Pomona Beautification Committee; 9am-12pm.

19-27 Come visit our booth at the Putnam County Fair, located on Yelvington Rd. in East Palatka.

27  George’s Lake Cleanup from 8 am - noon. Volunteers are meeting on the corner of Holloway and Tinsely Roads. A hotdog cookout will follow.Take Hwy 100 West to Q I Roberts Middle School take a right on Holloway Rd.

10 Boy Scout Cleanup, TBA

1-2 Artoberfest is a fundraising event for Keep Putnam Beautiful, the Palatka Art League and the Azalea City Cruisers held on the Palatka Riverfront, Memorial Parkway. Includes Business Expo, Car Show, Arts and Craft Show and Sale, Recycling Regatta, Live Entertainment, Kids games and activities, food vendors and much more!

Oct. 1, Street Party kickoff; 5-10 pm. Live Entertainment, Street Dance, BBQ dinner, and Poker Run

Oct. 2, Arts and Craft Sale, Car Show, Food and Business Vendors, Live Entertainment, Kids Games and Activities, Recycling Regatta, and more; 9am-5pm

(KPB), a non-profit education organization, was organized to be a county-wide program designed to address the need for grassroots solutions to critical and costly solid waste and littering issues. KPB was certified on June 11, 1991 as a Keep America Beautiful System affiliate.
