Community Gardens
KPB partners with the City of Palatka, Putnam County, business leaders, the UF Agriculture Extension Office and Master Gardeners, to provide plots of property for local residents to produce food for their families and to donate to families in need.
Community Gardens Project
The City of Palatka Community Gardens are open to the public at no charge. The gardens are sponsored by the City of Palatka, Keep Putnam Beautiful and the University of Florida, IFAS, Putnam County Extension Offices.
Current Sites
Some seeds and tools are available; however, gardeners are encouraged to bring their own tools. For more information on obtaining a plot at one of these sites, please contact Keep Putnam Beautiful, (386) 325-9598.
