Community Gardens

Community Gardens Project 

The City of Palatka Community Gardens are open to the public at no charge. The gardens are sponsored by the City of Palatka, Keep Putnam Beautiful and the University of Florida, IFAS, Putnam County Extension Offices.

Current Sites

  • Westover Drive, in the Oak Hill Community Park
  • River Street and South 12th Street at the Community Park
  • Main Street & 3rd Street
  • Calvary Life Center, 1414 Bronson Street
  • Water Works Environmental Education Center, 1101 Whitewater Drive

Some seeds and tools are available; however, gardeners are encouraged to bring their own tools. For more information on obtaining a plot at one of these sites, please contact Keep Putnam Beautiful, (386) 325-9598.
